Easter School Holiday Program 2024

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM for ages 7+

Enjoy the experience of creating, making and acquiring new skills by enrolling in our Horsham Regional Art Gallery School Holiday Program.

WEEK 1:

Tuesday April 2 – Sock Puppet Creation with Jess Wilson. Sew your own crazy and kooky sock puppet, learning basic sewing techniques with Jess along the way!

• Please note sewing equipment (scissors, needles etc.) will be used.

Wednesday April 3 – Prop Painting for Shrek with Emily Friedrichsen. Ignite your artistry and contribute to the staging of Horsham Arts Council’s musical production in May. Guided by the Shrek director, assist Emily in painting props so they are stage ready!

WEEK 2:

Tuesday April 9 – Traditional Game Making with Kat Clarke. A familiar game with a twist! Using traditional art symbols and river stones, create your very own Memory Game and Tic Tac Toe – fun for the whole family to play at home!

Wednesday April 10 – Stage Fighting with Larissa Riddell. Learn how to punch, kick, headlock and fall in a controlled and fun way. Larissa will guide you through stage fighting techniques before you choreograph your own slow-motion fight scene!

Age Requirement: 10+
