Join us for the official opening of Mali marrng Mallee Sky. This significant new series gives form to the invisible and unseen personal, familial and community narrative of connection to landscape. Gail Harradine and Belinda Eckermann’s first time collaboration merges digital photography, entomological research, electron microscopic imaging and First Nations cultural practices, to explore a shared knowledge and connection to the landscape around Lake Albacutya –Ngalukgutya in Victoria Mallee region.

Mali marrng Mallee sky  is an official exhibition of PHOTO 2022 International Festival of Photography (photo.org.au), a major biennial of new photography and ideas taking place from 29 April to 22 May in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Responding to the theme Being Human, 123 artists explore the contemporary human condition in 90 exhibitions, alongside a program of talks, tours, workshops and film screenings.
