No Rhyme or Reason

GENRE | Musical

Presented by Horsham Primary School

No Rhyme or Reason is an original stage musical written specifically for young performers to take part in and enjoy. The production is packed with fun songs, dance, signing and inspired performances from its young cast.

The journey begins in the Fairy-tale town of Needles and Pins where the Goose that lays the golden eggs has been stolen by The Giant.  Not only is the theft a problem, but 5kg golden eggs are falling out of the sky and landing on the town! Jack decides that it is up to him to go and get his father’s goose back before someone gets killed! He is joined on the journey by fellow villagers Simple Simon and Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater. Along the way they meet up with Little Red Riding Hood, her Granny and The Woodcutter, find Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs and the Wicked Queen, get serenaded (well not quite) by Robin Hood and his Merry Men, help Lion find his courage and finally meet The Giant in the Castle on a Cloud.

When they do locate the Goose, they discover that things weren’t how they seemed after all. Friendships are made, life courses changed and everyone ends up with a ‘happy ever after’ ending.

Sing along with Jack and Granny as they perform ‘Que Sera’, let Robin Hood and his Merry Men knock your socks off with ‘Rockin’ Robin’, bop along with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs dancing to ‘Happy’, watch Granny and the beautiful Flowers serenade the sleeping Lion with ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’, revel with Lion as he finds his courage singing ‘Fight Song’, and let loose with the whole cast as they perform ‘Footloose’. A great family night out that grown-ups and children of all ages will enjoy.
